A GitHub-reviewed security advisory, not necessarily under active exploitation the way our CISA KEV advisories are, but a real, disclosed vulnerability in an open-source dependency.
Affected packages
Vulnerable: < 1.20.0
Patched in 1.20.0
Vulnerable: < 2.0.0-beta37
Patched in 2.0.0-beta37
Details
A Qwik server in the default configuration can be crashed with one unauthenticated HTTP request. During qwik-json body parsing, ResourceSerializer.$fill$ does Promise.resolve(resource._resolved). If _resolved is a plain object whose .then is a QRL for an unregistered symbol, the async QRL rejects, the rejection is orphaned, and Node terminates the process via its default unhandled-rejection policy.
One unauthenticated request crashes the server. Looping keeps every replica dead as long as the attacker sends requests.
EPSS, exploit probability
Low0.52%
estimated chance of real-world exploitation in the next 30 days, higher than 43.1% of every CVE FIRST.org scores
Refreshed 10/15/2026, via FIRST.org's EPSS model, not CVSS, this measures likelihood of exploitation, not how severe it would be.
