Deep assessment of the applications and APIs your business runs on.
Web and API security testing is the manual and tool-assisted assessment of your applications and APIs for the authentication, authorization, and business-logic flaws automated scanners routinely miss.
Modern applications are built on complex API surfaces, third-party integrations, and layered authentication models. We test the full stack, from client-side logic to backend authorization, for the flaws that automated tools consistently miss.
Engagements cover REST, GraphQL, and legacy SOAP APIs, as well as the web applications and single-page apps consuming them.
Application vulnerabilities are often the most direct path to customer data, the business impact of a web or API breach tends to land squarely on customer trust and regulatory obligations, not just IT.
Catching these issues before release is far cheaper than patching in production: a flaw found during testing costs a fix; the same flaw found by an attacker costs incident response, customer notification, and remediation under pressure.
Access control failures are still the #1 web risk.

From request to confirmed finding
Intercept a real request in Caido or Burp, change one ID by hand, and see whether the API actually checks who's asking. This is how a BOLA finding gets found, and proven.
Intercepted request
GET /api/v2/invoices/1042 HTTP/1.1
Host: api.demo-corp.io
Authorization: Bearer eyJhbGciOi... (user id: 1042)
Accept: application/json

Process
Map application flows, roles, and API endpoints in scope.
Enumerate endpoints, parameters, and trust boundaries.
Manually test for logic flaws, injection, and access control gaps.
Determine exploitability and business impact for each finding.
Deliver findings with reproduction steps and fix guidance.
Confirm remediations close the identified gaps.
Yes. We regularly test headless and internal-only APIs directly, using API specifications, Postman collections, or documentation you provide.
We recommend a staging or dedicated test environment where possible, but can safely scope production testing with rate limiting and change windows agreed in advance.
The underlying testing discipline is the same, authentication, authorization, injection, business logic, but GraphQL introduces its own risks (query depth/complexity abuse, introspection exposure, batching attacks) that a REST-focused methodology alone wouldn't catch. We scope for whichever API style you actually run.
Yes, alongside the standard OWASP Top 10 where relevant, API-specific issues like broken object-level authorization and excessive data exposure get classified against the OWASP API Security Top 10 directly, since that's the more precise vocabulary for API-specific findings.
We can work without it, reconnaissance includes reverse-engineering the API surface from client-side traffic, but providing a spec (OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman collection, or similar) lets us spend more of the engagement on testing and less on rediscovering what you already know.
Our methodology for web & api security is grounded in established, publicly available frameworks, not a proprietary checklist.
Share a few details about your environment and we'll help you scope the right engagement.
