Question: Has anyone inquired about the AdaptHealth security breach?
Summary
AdaptHealth joined Kaiser in April 2026 and provides medical equipment supplies. I received a letter from Kroll informing me of a breach in June 2026. I called Kaiser to get more information but they weren’t aware of the situation.
I called Kroll at 844-958-8963 and they didn’t have more information except to visit “Enroll.KrollMonitoring.com/redeem” to activate identity monitoring services by Nov. 13, 2026. Why isn’t Kaiser Permanente aware because they share patient information and to enroll in Kroll I must share my personal information including Social Security number.
I’m being cautious about giving my personal information.
KazaSec's take
Incidents like this rarely start with the headline event itself — they usually trace back to an exposed remote-access endpoint, an unpatched perimeter system, or a credential phished weeks earlier. The organizations that recover fastest are the ones that tested their defenses and their incident response plan before they needed them.
